Fun in the forest – read the Helping Hearts race report!

So, the Forest of Dean half marathon is done, and we are now officially one sixth of the way through our Helping Hearts challenges!

Wow, what a day it was on Sunday – our first half marathon of the year, and an off-road one, which made everything ten times harder and the aches and pains ten times worse. A stunning day out in the forest, with the first whisper of spring in the air, but man it was a tough old slog! After almost two hours of running we crawled across the finish line and dined out a bacon sarnie that was good enough to be my last supper…

Check out the reports on the race under the challenges section of Helping Hearts, laugh at Cozzie’s food video and her photos, and please, please sponsor us so we can continue to help the wonderful doctors and nurses in the heart wards at Southmead Hospital. Thanks everyone, you’re all superstars (though after Sunday I’m pretty sure I’m taking that title for myself…!)
